Marks and Spencer are carrying out a recall of Marks and Spencer Fisherman’s Coat. 

The risk reported to the CCPC is possible suffocation. The fabrication of the hood does not meet M&S internal standards for sizes under 6 months. In some cases, the material of the hood may cover the nose and mouth. 

The brand is Marks and Spencer. The affected products are size 0-3M and 3-6M only. The model is SH500L. The serial number is 3201.

The model numbers are as follows: 

  • T78 2032Y Ditsy Print Fisherman Coat  
  • T78 4039Y Printed Fisherman Coat  
  • T78 4045Y Hooded Fisherman Jacket

The affected products were on sale from 9th January 2025. 

There are approximately 7 affected products in the Republic of Ireland.  

What to do: 

Customers should stop using the product immediately and keep out of the reach of children.

Customers can return the product to their nearest Marks and Spencer store to receive a full refund.
