Mazda 6 motor vehicle

Mazda Ireland is carrying out an inspection on Mazda 6 models.

On certain models produced between 14/02/2002 and 20/04/2003, the passenger front air bag could deploy abnormally in a crash which could possibly lead to injury and/or not provide adequate protection.

There are approximately 390 vehicles affected in Ireland.

What to do:

Letters will be sent by Mazda Ireland to customers informing them of this problem.  The letter will advise you to contact your nearest Mazda dealer who will arrange to do the required check and if necessary a refit free of charge.
