Mazda Motor Ireland recalls certain ‘3 BM’ and ‘3 BN’ passenger vehicles

Mazda Motor Ireland is carrying out a voluntary recall of certain ‘Mazda 3 BM’ and ‘Mazda 3 BN’ passenger vehicles. The affected vehicles were produced between 20 July 2015 and 18 July 2017.

A safety issue has been identified, whereby it is possible that due to a faulty electrical component, that the windscreen wiper may fail.

The recall affects 1,851 vehicles in the Republic of Ireland.

What to do:

Mazda Motor Ireland is in the process of directly contacting all affected vehicle owners and advising them to make an appointment with their local Authorised Repairer where all necessary repairs and/or replacement of parts, will be carried out.
