Mercedes-Benz recalls certain “E-Class” and “T-Model” passenger vehicles

Motors Distributors Limited is carrying out a voluntary recall of certain Mercedes-Benz ““E-Class” and “T-Model” passenger vehicles. The affected vehicles were produced between 29 September 2016 and 23 May 2019.
A safety issue has been identified, whereby it is possible that for certain vehicles of the E-class, T-model (BR 213) series that the rear spoiler might not have been bolted on in accordance with requirements. At high speeds the rear spoiler could completely detach itself from the vehicle.
The recall affects approximately 273 vehicles in the Republic of Ireland.
What to do:
Motors Distributors Limited will contact all affected customers directly advising them to make an appointment with their local Authorised Repairer where necessary repairs will be carried out.
