Mitsubishi Motors recalls passenger vehicles ASX (GA0W), Eclipse Cross (GK1W), Outlander (GF0W), Outlander PHEV (GG2W)

Mitsubishi Motors is carrying out a voluntary recall of certain models of ASX (GA0W), Eclipse Cross (GK1W), Outlander (GF0W), Outlander PHEV (GG2W)

These particular vehicles are being recalled to repair the faulty software of the forward-collision mitigation (FCM) system of the engine control unit (ECU)

There have been 455 affected vehicles placed on the Irish market.

What to do:

The owners of all affected vehicles will be contacted by and asked to take their vehicle to a Mitsubishi dealer or authorised repairer for remedial action.
