Mitsubishi Recall model ASX GA0W Tailgate Gas Springs

Mitsubishi Ireland is carrying out a voluntary recall of Mitsubishi ASX (GA0W) which were manufactured between 2010 -2014.

Mitsubishi have identified a safety issue whereby there is a concern about the behaviour of the tailgate gas springs. For certain gas springs the end cap can slip off. The end cap can hit the customer and/or the tailgate can fall down suddenly, resulting in possible injury.

There are 556 Mitsubishi vehicles affected currently on the Irish market.
