Mitsubishi recalls certain ‘Pajero’ passenger vehicles

Mmc Commercials Unlimited Company (Mitsubishi Motors Ireland) is carrying out a voluntary recall of certain ‘Pajero’ passenger vehicles. The affected vehicles were produced between 2017 and 2018.
A safety issue has been identified whereby, due to an improper welding process, the right hand side front lower control arm might break during vehicle usage. This may result in the vehicle becoming unstable during driving.
The recall affects approximately 120 vehicles in the Republic of Ireland.
What to do:
Mitsubishi Motors Ireland will be writing directly to all affected customers advising them to make an appointment with their local dealer/authorised repairer, where all necessary repairs/replacement of parts will be carried out.
