Mitsubishi recalls passenger vehicle model ASX (GA0W)

Mitsubishi Motors Corporation is carrying out a voluntary recall of model ASX (GA0W).
Mitsubishi has established two separate issues, impacting vehicles manufactured between 2015-2015.5 MY.
Risk 1: Impacting certain, effected vehicles “…The engine ECU relay can be abnormally heated up. The engine can stall while driving and can be not able to start.” A voluntary measure has been initiated to recall vehicles from end-users: “Return all involved vehicles to the dealer workshop to replace the engine ECU relays with the new one.”
It is estimated that 673 vehicles in the Republic of Ireland are impacted by this recall.
Risk 2: Impacting certain, effected vehicles “…The door lock mechanism in the door latch might not operate properly in high temperatures…The door may not be locked sufficiently and may open itself while driving.” A voluntary measure has been initiated to recall vehicles from end-users: “Return all involved vehicles to the dealer workshop to replace the door latches with the new one.”
It is estimated that 246 vehicles in the Republic of Ireland are impacted by this recall.
What to do:
