Nissan recalls certain ‘Tiida’ and ‘Note’ passenger vehicles

A voluntary recall is being carried out by Nissan Ireland, on certain ‘Tiida’ and ‘Note’ passenger vehicles. The vehicles affected were produced between 30 August 2005 and 31 August 2014.
A defect in the gas generator of the passenger airbag may cause uncontrolled inflation and the release of metal fragments when the airbag is activated, which can cause injury to the occupants.
This recall affects 7263 vehicles in the Republic of Ireland.
