A safety issue has been identified with a Panda Soft Toy sold by the AliExpress platform.

The product presents a risk of choking and suffocation. The toy contains small parts (nose and paws) which can easily detach. A small child may put them in the mouth and choke. The plastic bag of the packaging is also too thin. If a child plays with the packaging, the plastic can cover the mouth and nose, causing the child to suffocate.

The AliExpress Product ID is 1005004649708478. The brand, model number, batch number and bar code are unknown.

The product was sold online through the AliExpress platform. There are approximately 7 affected products in the Republic of Ireland.
