Product Safety Information Notice on certain Glen Dimplex Home Appliance Ltd Manufactured Cookers with Gas Grills

A safety issue has been identified with Glen Dimplex Home Appliance Ltd manufactured Belling, Stoves and New World Gas Range Cookers with Gas Grill (110, 100 and 90 models) (2205-0240).

The products present a risk to health and death if the grill is used with the door closed. Using the cookers with the grill door closed can cause extremely dangerous levels of carbon monoxide to be produced, which can pose a significant risk to health and death.

Products in scope of this safety warning have been purchased at any time between 2010 and 2022.

There are approximately 20 affected units in the Republic of Ireland. Glen Dimplex believes that these products were purchased through the following retailers in Northern Ireland and then brought into the Republic of Ireland:

• Armagh Electrical
• Jamisons Gas Centre
• Reillys of Enniskillen
• Hardys of Kilkeel
• Andys Stores
• Basil Knipe Electrics
• Sloans Gas Energy Centre
• Vision Sales
• Donaghy Brothers

What to do:

Glen Dimplex has written to the consumers in the Republic of Ireland with a safety notice to remind them to use the grill with the grill door fully open, in accordance with the instruction manual. The gas oven and hob are unaffected by this safety warning.
