Product Safety Information Notice on LED spinning top sold on the TEMU platform

A safety issue has been identified with a LED spinning top powered by button batteries sold on the TEMU platform. 

   

The risk reported to the CCPC is chemical. The battery compartment can be easily opened, leaving the button batteries accessible. A child may put them in the mouth and swallow them, which could cause damage to the child’s gastrointestinal tract. 

The GoodsID is 601099545120913. The product identification number is 5411677678. 

There are approximately 603 affected products in the Republic of Ireland.   

 What to do:  

 Customers should stop using the product immediately and keep it out of the reach of children.  

Temu has contacted affected consumers regarding this recall on behalf of the seller, and reimbursements have been issued to those impacted.
