Product Safety Information notice on the Yoto Mini (2021-2023 Edition)

A safety issue has been identified with the Yoto Mini (2021-2023 Edition).

The product presents a risk of fire, burns, and smoke inhalation injury as during charging the battery may suffer a thermal runaway, causing it to overheat.

The brand is Yoto. The batch number is commencing 1FE-8FE. The type/number of the model is Yoto Mini SKU PRPLXX00860.

There are approximately 2,756 affected products in the Republic of Ireland.

What to do:

Customers should stop using the product and  keep it out of the reach of children.

Yoto is  offering a free battery replacement kit to all customers who have an affected Yoto Mini. These products were manufactured and sold between 2021 and 2023 and have a serial number commencing 1FE-8FE.

Unaffected models have a 14-digit Serial Number that either: ends with a -H, or -H7, or -U, regardless of how it starts (including if they start 1FE-8FE).
