A safety issue has been identified, whereby, it is possible that this product may present a serious risk to children due to the possibility of the product releasing nickel at a high level. A potential allergic reaction could occur if presented in articles that come into direct and prolonged contact with the skin, as nickel is a strong sensitiser.

The Fidget Toy Set is a sensory play product that includes stress balls, stretchy strings, flippy chain, soybean squeeze, and mini unicorn. The products may be used by those suffering from stress relief, autism and ADHD. The brand of this product is OleOletOy.

These products were sold online through e-retail platforms.

It is not confirmed whether these products were sold to customers in the Republic of Ireland, however, given its online availability – this remains a possibility.
