Renault recalls Dacia Duster
January 31, 2018
Renault Ireland is carrying out a voluntary recall on Dacia Duster models that were produced between 6 June 2017 and 10 October 2017. This campaign will launch on 13 February 2018.
Renault has become aware that the vehicle START STOP and/or the ESM (Energy System Management) facility may not function due to a faulty alternator. The engine may stop while being driven. There would be no warning to the driver. Renault will recall the vehicles from owners directly for a computer re-programme. This affects 66 cars in Ireland
What to do:
Renault Ireland will be writing directly to the owners of the affected vehicles to arrange to have the car repaired at an authorised service agent. Owners can also call Renault’s Low-call number 1890 771 771 for more details.
