Renault recalls Megane IV
March 27, 2017
Renault is carrying out a voluntary recall of certain models of the Megane IV manufactured between 20/05/2016 and 18/07/2016.
It may be possible that the rear door child lock may deactivate when the doors are closed due to it not holding in position. There would be no warning of this to the driver/person closing the door.
There are 306 vehicles affected by this recall.
What to do:
Letters will be sent by Renault to owners of affected vehicles and customers will be asked to arrange an appointment to have the car repaired at an authorised service agent. This repair will be free of charge. Customers can also call Renault’s Low-call number 1890 771 771 for more details.
