Skoda Ireland recalls Superb Combi
April 6, 2016
SKODA Ireland are recalling a number of SKODA Superb Combi models built between July 2015 and March 2016.
On vehicles with Panoramic sun roof of a certain production period, the legally specified limits of the clamping forces for convenience opening and closing (remote operation of panoramic sunroof with the vehicle key) of the sun roof may not be met. To rule out any injuries when closing the sun roof with the vehicle key, it is necessary to disable the convenience opening and closing of the sun roof.
There are 43 vehicles affected in Ireland.
What to do:
SKODA Ireland will be writing directly to those owners involved in the recall to arrange to have their vehicles updated. The letter will advise you to contact your nearest Authorised SKODA Service Centre who will carry out the update, free of charge.
You can also contact SKODA Ireland directly on: 1850 812 764.
