Suzuki Ireland is carrying out a voluntary recall of certain models of the SX4 S-Cross.

The production range of the affected vehicles is from 01/08/2013 to 13/01/2016.

There is a possibility that during the part production some stitch spacing of the front seatback trims may be outside of specification around the area where the side airbag is mounted. As a consequence, the tearing strength of the trim may be higher than normal and it is possible that the inflation force of the side airbag is not enough to tear the trim and inflate the airbag correctly. Therefore the front seatback trims are required to be replaced.

There are 584 affected vehicles on the Irish market.
