Tesco recall the 2 in 1 ‘Sit n Scoot’ scooter

Due to a potential mechanical fault Tesco have initiated a product recall for the 2 in 1 ‘Sit n Scoot’ scooter. This toy was only sold in three Tesco stores, Tesco Finglas, Tesco Naas and Tesco Balbriggan.

Peppa Pig 2 in 1 Sit n Scoot – Product Code: M14107

Thomas & Friends 2 in 1 Sit n Scoot – Product Code:  M14109

Disney Princess 2 in 1 Sit & Scoot –Product Code: M14106

The risk associated with this product is that in certain circumstances the push button mechanism which converts the 2 in 1 from ride on to scooter mode could pose a potential finger entrapment/pinching hazard.

What to do:

If you have purchased this product Tesco advice is, to stop using this product immediately.

Check the product code on your purchase matches any of those models shown on this notice and return the product to your nearest Tesco Store (excluding Express) along with proof of purchase for a full refund. If you have bought this scooter for someone else, or know someone who has one, please tell them about this notice.
