TJX Ireland Unlimited Company t/a TK Maxx and Homesense is carrying out a recall of RIO Professional UV Lamp.

The product has a risk of electric shock. This is due to inadequate insulation which may lead to electrical breakdown of the bulbs resulting in the user receiving an electric shock.

The brand is RIO. The model number is UVLP6-COM-NA. To identify the batch, the code 059920 will be shown on the price sticker and the receipt. The barcode is unknown.

There are approximately 23 affected products in the Republic of Ireland. The product was on sale in TK Maxx and Homesense stores between December 2023 and February 2024.

What to do:

Customers should stop using the product immediately and return it to any TK Maxx or Homesense store for a full refund.
