Toyota recalls Corolla

Toyota Ireland is carrying out a voluntary recall of certain Corolla models manufactured between September 2002 and January 2003.
In the subject vehicles, there is a possibility that the container of the inflator of the driver seat air bag may rupture. The cause is not known, and Toyota is conducting a recall to recover the relevant parts and to investigate them in order to determine the cause of the problem.
There are 170 affected vehicles in Ireland.
What to do:
Toyota Ireland will be writing directly to those customers involved in this recall to arrange to have the repair carried out. The letter will advise you to contact your nearest Toyota Dealer/Authorised Repairer who will arrange to do the check/repair free of charge. Toyota Ireland can be contacted on: 01 4190222.
