Urgent Gas Cooker Safety Warning

A safety alert has been issued for certain Beko and Flavel gas cookers with a separate oven and grill, which have been converted to run on LPG or bottled gas, after purchase.

Certain models of these cookers with a separate oven and grill can produce dangerous levels of carbon monoxide if the grill is used with the grill door closed. This can pose a serious risk to your health.

Please check the list below to see if you own one of the affected cookers and have converted it to LPG (bottled gas) after your bought it.

(Note: only applies to Models manufactured before 2009, with serial numbers starting 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08)

Please have your full model number and serial number to hand when you call – these can be found on the rating plate at the bottom front edge of your appliance.

The serial number will take the form AA xxxxxx BB:

AA is the year of manufacture

BB is the month of manufacture

What to do:

1: Follow the instruction manual- DO NOT operate the grill with the grill door closed.

2: Call BEKO to arrange for a FREE safety inspection and modification on Freephone 1800 25 29 25
