Volkswagen recalls certain Skoda – Kodiaq passenger vehicles

Volkswagen Group Ireland Limited is carrying out a voluntary recall of certain Skoda – Kodiaq passenger vehicles. The vehicles were produced in December 2018.

A safety issue has been identified, whereby it is possible that due to a single rear seat being incorrectly secured, there is an increased risk of injury in the event of an accident.

The recall affects 84 vehicles in the Republic of Ireland.

What to do:

Volkswagen Group Ireland Limited is in the process of directly contacting all affected vehicle owners and advising them to make an appointment with their local Skoda Authorised Repairer where all necessary repairs and checks will be carried out.
