Yamaha recalls certain Yamaha MWD300 (Tricity 300) Motorcycles

Danfay Limited is carrying out a recall of YAMAHA MWD300 (Tricity 300) Motorcycles.

The affected products were manufactured from 1 February 2020 to 28 February 2022.

A safety issue has been identified with the affected products where the Standing Assist System does not release immediately after deactivation and continues to block the front suspension. There is an increased risk of falling and injury.

There are approximately 43 products affected in the Republic of Ireland.

What to do:

Danfay Limited will contact all affected customers, through their dealer network, advising them to make an appointment with their local Authorised Repairer where any necessary modifications to the Standing Assist System will be carried out.
