Yamaha recalls to repair certain XTZ690D (Tenere World Raid) Motorcycles.

The affected products were manufactured from June 2022 until March 2023.

The product presents a risk of injuries. Due to a fault with the fuel tank, fuel may leak. This can lead to the rider falling from the motorcycle resulting in bruising and fractures.

The brand is Yamaha. The model type codes are BAG1VIN: From VG5DM116000000101 to VG5DM116000007899. These VIN numbers are not consecutive.

There are approximately 17 affected products in the Republic of Ireland.

What to do:

Yamaha Dealers will directly contact all affected customers advising them to make an appointment with their local Yamaha Authorised Repairer where the product will be modified.
